Turn off First row is a header. The converter creates Column 1, Column 2, and so on, then keeps every source row as table data. Markdown pipe tables require a header and separator row, even when the original CSV does not include headings.

### What does column padding change?

Padding adds spaces so pipes line up in the raw Markdown source, which makes the table easier to review in a text editor or code diff. It does not change the cell values or the rendered table. Disable it when you prefer more compact Markdown.
