About CanDoYa

We build small, focused tools for everyday tasks: counting words, formatting JSON, encoding and decoding text, checking color contrast, and more. Each one does a single job well and loads fast. We add new tools regularly and translate them into 40 languages so people can work in their own.

Most online tools upload your text or files to a server to do the work. We think that is unnecessary for the kind of tasks we cover, and it puts your data somewhere you cannot see. So our tools run as plain JavaScript on the page you are already looking at.

That has real benefits for you:

• Privacy. Your content never leaves your device, so there is nothing for us to store, leak, or sell.
• Speed. There is no round trip to a server, so results appear as you type.
• It works offline. Once a page has loaded, most tools keep working without a connection.

The tools here are free and we intend to keep them that way. Some pages link to a paid app when a task needs more than a browser can comfortably handle, like processing large batches or saving your work across devices. Using those apps is always optional, and the free tools never depend on them.

CanDoYa is built and run by justonedev, a small independent team that likes fast, honest software. We read every message, and feedback shapes what we build next.
