What is an online chart maker?

An online chart maker turns a small table of labels and numbers into a visual bar, line, or pie chart. Enter your data, choose the chart type, adjust colors, and export a PNG or SVG. The preview updates in your browser, with no account or spreadsheet software needed.

Who it's for

  • Students and teachers illustrating survey results, experiments, or class projects.
  • Small businesses comparing sales, costs, leads, or sign-ups in a report.
  • Presenters creating a quick visual for slides without opening a spreadsheet.
  • Writers and marketers exporting a crisp SVG or PNG for a post, document, or newsletter.

Use this editor when you already know the values and need a clean visual quickly. Each row has its own label, value, and color, so you can build a presentation-ready chart without configuring spreadsheet ranges. Your data and chart rendering stay on your device.

Bar charts compare separate categories, line charts show an ordered trend, and pie charts show how positive values divide one total.

FAQ

Is my chart data uploaded?

No. Your labels, values, colors, preview, and exports are processed locally in your browser. You do not upload the data to a chart service or save it to an account.

Is the chart maker free?

Yes. You can create bar, line, and pie charts, customize their colors, and export PNG or SVG without signing up, paying, or adding a watermark.

How many data points can I add?

You can add up to 20 data points. That limit keeps labels and values readable in the fixed-size export. If you have a larger dataset, summarize it first or use the CSV to Chart tool for column-based data.

Which chart type should I choose?

Choose a bar chart to compare categories, a line chart for values in a meaningful order such as months, and a pie chart for nonnegative values that represent parts of one whole.

Can a pie chart contain negative values?

No. A negative value cannot represent a slice of a whole, so the tool asks you to change the value or select bar or line. Zero values are allowed but do not create visible slices.

What is the difference between PNG and SVG?

PNG is a fixed-size image that works well in slides, documents, and social posts. SVG is a vector graphic that remains sharp at any size and can be edited in compatible design software.

Can I use decimal or negative numbers?

Yes. Bar and line charts accept integers, decimals, scientific notation, zero, and negative values. Pie charts accept zero and positive numbers only because every slice must be part of a positive total.
