This audio joiner uses a local WebAssembly build of FFmpeg. It decodes each source, converts the sound to a common 44.1 kHz stereo layout, and joins the clips in your chosen order. That normalization lets common MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, AAC, OPUS, and WebM audio files share one output.

Joining is sequential: the second clip starts after the first one ends. It does not overlap tracks or mix background music beneath speech. Every source file remains unchanged on your device.

FAQ

Are my audio files uploaded when I join them?

No. Your browser reads each local file and passes it to a WebAssembly audio engine running in this tab. The engine files download on first use, but your recordings and joined output are not sent to CanDoYa, stored in an account, or retained after you close the page.

Is this audio joiner free?

Yes. You can arrange, join, preview, and download audio without an account, payment, or watermark. The practical limits are your browser's memory and processing speed. The device-aware total ranges from 100 MB on mobile or low-memory devices to 500 MB on high-memory desktops.

How many audio files can I combine?

You can combine between two and twelve clips in one pass. This keeps browser memory use predictable because the source files, local audio engine, and completed output may all occupy memory at the same time. For a longer sequence, join smaller groups and then combine those results.

Can I merge MP3, WAV, M4A, and other formats together?

Yes. Common MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, AAC, OPUS, AIFF, WMA, and WebM audio can be mixed when the local engine supports their codecs. The tool re-encodes every clip to the same sample rate and stereo layout before placing the tracks in sequence.

What is the difference between joining and mixing audio?

Joining places clips one after another, so each starts when the previous one ends. Mixing overlaps two or more tracks and balances their volume, such as speech over background music. This tool joins files sequentially and does not layer or crossfade them.

Should I choose MP3 or WAV output?

Choose MP3 for a much smaller file that is easy to share and plays on nearly every device. Choose WAV for uncompressed audio that is better suited to another editing step, but expect a substantially larger download. Both outputs use a 44.1 kHz stereo layout.

Will joining audio reduce quality?

The output is re-encoded so files with different formats and technical settings can join reliably. MP3 uses a 192 kbps lossy encode, while WAV stores uncompressed 16-bit PCM. Your original clips are never changed, so you can retry with WAV if you want to avoid another lossy compression step.

Why can joining long recordings take time?

Every clip must be decoded, normalized, and encoded again on your device. Total duration, source codec, output format, processor speed, and available memory all affect processing time. Keep the tab open while it runs. A desktop editor is usually better for very long multi-hour projects.
