Everything runs in your browser with plain JavaScript. Your habits and the days you have ticked are written to your browser's local storage, so they stay on this device even if you close the tab or restart your computer - but they are never uploaded and no one else can see them. Add as many habits as you like, tick the last seven days in one tap each, and each row shows your current streak (days in a row up to today) and your best streak ever. A small percentage at the bottom shows how much of the week you have completed across every habit.

What is an online habit tracker?
An online habit tracker is a free tool for building routines: you add the habits you want to keep, tick off each day you do them, and it counts your streaks for you. This one saves everything in your browser, so your habits and history are still here when you come back - with no account, no app to install, and nothing sent to a server.
How to use
- 1Add your habits. Type a habit and press Enter or Add - repeat for each one you want to track. Not sure? Load the example to see it in action.
- 2Tick each day you do it. Tap the square under a day to mark that habit done; tap again to undo. The last seven days are always shown.
- 3Watch your streaks. Each habit shows your current streak (days in a row) and your best streak ever, so progress is visible at a glance.
- 4Come back tomorrow. Your habits and history are saved in this browser, so reopen the page any day and pick up right where you left off.
Who it's for
- Building a new routine - drinking more water, reading, stretching or journaling - and needing to see the streak to stay motivated.
- Breaking a bad habit by tracking the days you avoided it and keeping the chain unbroken.
- People who don't want another app or account and just want a private tracker that opens instantly in a browser tab.
- Students and remote workers keeping a lightweight daily checklist pinned in the browser alongside their other tabs.
FAQ
How does the streak count work?
The current streak is the number of consecutive days, ending today, that you ticked the habit. If you haven't ticked today yet it counts from yesterday, so an unfinished today doesn't look like a broken streak. The best streak is the longest run of consecutive days you have ever recorded.
Are my habits saved automatically?
Yes. Every change is written to your browser's local storage right away, so your habits and their history survive reloading the page or closing and reopening the tab. The status shows "Saved" once it's stored.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your own browser, in its localStorage. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so your habits stay private to this device and no one else can see them.
Will my habits sync to my phone or another browser?
No. Because the data lives in this browser on this device, it won't appear on your phone or in a different browser. It's a private, single-device tracker.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Clearing your site data, cookies or browsing history for this site erases your saved habits, because that is where they are kept. There is no backup on our side.
Is the habit tracker free?
Yes - it's 100% free, with no sign-up, no limits and no app to install. It runs entirely in your browser.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes. Adding habits, ticking days and reading streaks all work without an internet connection because everything happens locally in your browser.
