No. File reading, waveform decoding, trimming, fades, encoding, preview, and download happen inside your browser tab. The first export downloads the audio engine code, but your song is not sent with that request. Closing or refreshing the tab releases the temporary local file URLs.

Is this ringtone maker free?

Yes. You can make and download ringtones without an account, subscription, watermark, or server queue. Processing uses your device, so the practical limits are the available browser memory and speed. Large or damaged files can take longer or fail to decode.

What is the ringtone length limit?

Each exported ringtone can be from 0.5 to 30 seconds long. Apple documents a 30-second maximum for ringtones exported from GarageBand. Android can accept longer audio on many devices, but a 30-second clip starts quickly and keeps the ringtone file small.

Should I choose M4R or MP3?

Choose M4R for an iPhone ringtone and MP3 for most Android phones. M4R is AAC audio in an Apple ringtone container; changing an MP3 filename to .m4r does not convert its codec. Both options from this tool are encoded as 44.1 kHz stereo audio at 192 kbps.

How do I add the M4R ringtone to my iPhone?

The download creates the ringtone file, but iOS still requires an Apple-supported transfer or creation workflow. Depending on your device and computer, use GarageBand, Finder, or Apple Devices to place the tone on the iPhone, then select it under Sounds and Haptics.

Which audio files can I use?
