Is my signature uploaded or stored?
No. Pointer input, canvas rendering, cropping, copying, and PNG creation happen in your browser. CanDoYa does not receive or store the signature image, although normal site analytics may record that you visited the page.
Is the online signature pad free?
Yes. You can draw, undo, clear, copy, and download signatures without an account, payment, watermark, or usage counter. The practical limit is the memory and input support available in your browser.
What file format does the signature pad create?
It creates a PNG image with a transparent background. The file is cropped around the visible ink with a small margin, so it is ready to place over a signature line in a compatible document editor.
Can I draw a signature on my phone or tablet?
Yes. The pad uses browser pointer events, which work with a finger, stylus, mouse, or trackpad on current browsers. The page also prevents normal touch scrolling while you are actively drawing inside the canvas.
Can I undo only the latest part of my signature?
Yes. Each continuous pen-down gesture is saved as one stroke. Undo removes the newest stroke while keeping everything drawn before it. Clear removes all strokes and returns the pad to its empty state.
Does this create a legally binding electronic signature?
The tool creates an image of your handwritten mark; it does not verify identity, record consent, or add a cryptographic certificate. Whether that image is sufficient depends on the document, parties, workflow, and law that apply to your situation.
Why does the downloaded image have no white background?
