01 / Overview

How can I delete pages from a PDF?

Add your PDF, select unwanted pages from clear thumbnails or enter page ranges, then download a new copy without those pages. The page remover works locally in your browser. It keeps the original content of every remaining page instead of converting the document into a set of images.

How to use

  1. 01
    Add your PDF

Drop one PDF onto the tool or click to choose it. The browser reads the document and creates a numbered thumbnail for each page.

  2. 02
    Mark unwanted pages

Click page thumbnails or type page numbers and ascending ranges such as 2, 4-6. Selected pages receive a clear delete mark.

  3. 03
    Create the edited copy

Check how many pages will remain, click Delete selected pages, then download the new PDF to your device.

Who it's for

  • Office teams removing draft covers, duplicate charts, or internal appendices before sending a report.
  • Students and researchers trimming instruction sheets or unused reference pages from course packets.
  • Administrators cleaning blank scanner pages from forms and case files while keeping the document local.
  • Print workflows excluding unwanted pages before producing a shorter handout or archival copy.

Use the visual PDF page remover to discard blank scans, duplicate pages, outdated covers, or confidential appendices before you share a document. Click any thumbnail to mark it, click again to restore it, or type a mixed selection such as 2, 4-6, 9. Your source stays on your device.

The tool accepts one unencrypted PDF up to 100 MB and 300 pages. It always creates a separate download and never changes the original file. At least one page must remain because a valid saved PDF cannot have an empty page tree.

FAQ

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. Your browser reads the source, renders page thumbnails, removes your selection, and creates the download locally. CanDoYa does not receive the PDF. Once the page and PDF code are loaded, the file operation itself does not require an upload connection.

Is this PDF page remover free?

Yes. You can remove pages and download the edited PDF without payment, an account, a watermark, or daily credits. Processing uses your device instead of a file-processing server. Speed depends on the source PDF and the memory available to your browser.

What are the file size and page limits?

You can open one PDF up to 100 MB and 300 pages. The browser creates a local thumbnail for each page, so the page cap keeps memory use practical on phones and laptops. Split a larger document into smaller parts before editing it here.

Does deleting PDF pages reduce quality?

No rasterization is used for the saved PDF. Thumbnails are only selection controls. Pages that remain keep their original PDF page objects, including selectable text, vector artwork, dimensions, and embedded image resolution. File size can still change because the document is serialized again.

Can I remove several PDF pages at once?

Yes. Click as many thumbnails as needed or enter a comma-separated selection with inclusive ranges, such as 2, 4-6, 9. The tool combines overlapping entries and shows the number of pages that will remain before it enables the delete action.

Can I delete every page in a PDF?

No. A saved PDF needs at least one page, so the tool blocks an all-page selection and asks you to restore one. If none of the source pages should remain, create a new document instead of exporting an empty PDF.

Why is my encrypted or password-protected PDF rejected?

This tool cannot edit an encrypted PDF without its password. If you are authorized, open the file in a PDF application, enter the password, and save an unlocked copy. Add that copy here. Damaged files are rejected rather than producing an unreliable download.

Will bookmarks, forms, and digital signatures still work?

The tool retains document-level data where the PDF library supports it, but bookmarks that point to deleted pages and complex forms should be checked after saving. Any document change can invalidate a certificate-based digital signature, so verify signed files after editing.
