How can I reorder pages in a PDF?

Add a PDF, then drag its page thumbnails into the order you want or use the accessible move buttons. Save and download a new PDF when the sequence is correct. The tool works inside your browser and moves original PDF pages without converting them into screenshots.

How to use

  1. 1Add your PDF. Drop one PDF onto the tool or click to choose it. The browser reads the file and renders a numbered thumbnail for each page.
  2. 2Arrange the pages. Drag thumbnails into place, use the earlier and later buttons, or focus a page and press Alt with an arrow key. Reverse and Reset order handle larger changes.
  3. 3Save the new sequence. Click Save reordered PDF, review the result name and page count, then download the new file to your device.

Who it's for

Use this PDF page organizer to fix reports assembled in the wrong order, rearrange scanned packets, or move an appendix. Every page appears as a numbered thumbnail. Reverse the whole document in one click, reset an experiment, or adjust pages one at a time. Your source file never leaves your device.

The tool accepts one unencrypted PDF up to 100 MB and 300 pages. That page cap keeps thumbnail rendering and memory use practical on phones and laptops. It creates a separate download, so the original file on your device is not changed.

FAQ

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. Your browser reads the PDF, renders its thumbnails, changes the page sequence, and creates the download locally. CanDoYa does not receive the document. Once the page and PDF code are loaded, the file operation itself does not need an upload connection.

Is this PDF page reorder tool free?

Yes. You can arrange and download a PDF without an account, payment, watermark, or daily credit. The work uses your device instead of a file-processing server. The practical speed depends on the PDF and the memory available in your browser.

What are the file size and page limits?

You can open one PDF up to 100 MB and 300 pages. Each page needs a local thumbnail, so the page cap prevents excessive browser memory use. Split a larger document into smaller PDFs, reorder each part, and merge them afterward if needed.

Does reordering PDF pages reduce quality?

No rasterization is used for the saved document. The thumbnails are only visual controls. The output reuses the original PDF page objects, which keeps selectable text, vector artwork, page dimensions, and embedded image resolution. File size may change because the PDF is serialized again.

Can I reorder PDF pages without drag and drop?

Yes. Every thumbnail has Move earlier and Move later buttons that work with touch, mouse, and keyboard. You can also focus a page card and press Alt plus an arrow key. Reverse changes the full sequence, while Reset order restores the original arrangement.

Why is my encrypted or password-protected PDF rejected?

This tool cannot safely edit an encrypted PDF without its password. If you are authorized, open the file in a PDF application, enter the password, and save an unlocked copy. Add that copy here. Damaged files are also rejected instead of producing an unreliable download.

Will bookmarks, forms, or digital signatures still work?

The tool keeps original page objects and document-level data where the PDF library supports them, but complex forms and bookmarks should be checked after saving. Any document edit can invalidate a certificate-based digital signature. Reorder an unsigned working copy when signature validity matters.
