How do I rotate PDF pages and save them?

Add your PDF, choose all pages or a specific set, then select a 90 or 180 degree turn. The tool saves that orientation into a new PDF without converting pages to images. Everything runs in your browser, so your document stays on your device throughout the process.

How to use

  1. 1Add your PDF. Drop one PDF onto the upload area or click to choose it. The tool reads its page count and shows a local preview.
  2. 2Choose pages and direction. Select all, odd, even, or custom pages, then choose a 90 degree clockwise, 90 degree counterclockwise, or 180 degree turn.
  3. 3Rotate and download. Click Rotate PDF and download the new file. Text, images, vectors, and page dimensions remain intact.

Who it's for

Use this PDF rotator to fix sideways scans, upside-down pages, and mixed page orientations. You can target the whole document, odd or even pages, or a custom list such as 1, 3, 5-8. Rotation happens locally with no upload queue, account, watermark, or daily quota.

FAQ

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is read, previewed, rotated, and saved inside your browser. It is never uploaded to CanDoYa or a third-party file service. After the page and PDF engine have loaded, the document processing itself does not require a server connection.

Is this PDF rotator free?

Yes. You can rotate and download PDFs without signing up, paying, waiting for credits, or accepting a watermark. Your browser performs the work locally, so there is no server processing quota. The practical limit depends on your device's available memory.

Is there a file size or page limit?

The tool sets no fixed file size or page limit. Very large PDFs use more memory because the browser holds the source and finished files while processing. If a large document strains a phone, try the same file on a laptop or rotate fewer pages at once.

Can I rotate only one page in a PDF?

Yes. Choose Custom pages and enter that page number, such as 4. You can also enter multiple pages and ranges, such as 1, 3, 5-8. Only those pages receive the selected turn; every other page keeps its existing orientation.

Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?

No. The tool changes each selected page's rotation setting instead of rasterizing or recompressing its contents. Searchable text remains searchable, vector graphics stay sharp, and embedded images retain their resolution. The output can differ slightly in size because the document is saved again.

What do clockwise and counterclockwise mean here?

Clockwise turns the top of the page toward the right. Counterclockwise turns it toward the left. A 180 degree turn flips an upside-down page. The chosen turn is added to any rotation already stored on that page, so repeated 90 degree turns work as expected.

Why is my password-protected PDF rejected?

Encrypted PDFs cannot be safely edited without their password. Open the file in a PDF viewer, enter its password, and save an unlocked copy if you are authorized to do so. Then add that copy to the rotator. Rejecting protected files prevents blank or unusable output.
