Each selected image becomes one PDF page. You can combine phone photos, screenshots, and scanned pages in a deliberate order instead of creating separate documents. A4 and US Letter produce consistent printable pages, while Match each image keeps each source aspect ratio and derives the PDF page from its pixel dimensions.

JPG and WebP inputs are normalized as high-quality JPEG data, while PNG inputs keep transparency when the browser can decode them. The converter scales every image proportionally and never crops it. Processing and the finished download stay on your device.

FAQ

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Your browser reads the images and creates the PDF locally. CanDoYa does not receive the source files or the finished document. The page loads its PDF code as a static asset, but conversion does not send your images to a processing service.

Is the image to PDF converter free?

Yes. You can convert and download a PDF without payment, an account, or a watermark. The fixed safety limits are 40 images, 25 MB per source image, 100 MB combined, 40 megapixels per image, and 120 megapixels for the whole batch.

Which image formats can I convert to PDF?

The converter accepts JPG and JPEG photos, PNG graphics, and static WebP images that your browser can decode. Animated WebP files are treated as a single decoded frame. HEIC, TIFF, SVG, GIF, and camera RAW files are not accepted in this version.

Can I combine multiple images into one PDF?

Yes. Add several images and arrange them in the order you want. Each image becomes one PDF page, and the download contains the entire sequence. Use the arrow controls or drag the image cards before creating the document.

Does converting JPG to PDF improve image quality?

No. A PDF places the decoded image onto a page; it cannot restore detail that is missing from the source. The converter keeps the aspect ratio and avoids cropping. JPG and WebP inputs are normalized at high JPEG quality, so repeated lossy conversions should still be avoided.

Should I choose A4, US Letter, or Match each image?

Choose A4 for common international printing and US Letter for typical North American printing. Match each image creates a page with the source aspect ratio, based on 96 pixels per inch. It is useful for screen viewing, but standard paper sizes are easier to print predictably.

Will transparent PNG areas stay transparent?

PNG images are embedded as PNG data, so transparent pixels can remain transparent in the PDF. A PDF viewer may display those areas over white. JPG and WebP inputs are flattened onto white because JPEG does not support transparency.

Why is there a limit on image size?

Image decoding can use far more memory than the compressed file size. A 40 megapixel image needs roughly 160 MB just for one RGBA pixel buffer, before the browser holds previews and PDF data. The limits reduce tab crashes, especially on phones and memory-constrained laptops.
